Diplomatic Corps
The responsibility of members of this department is to be the USS STORM’s “First Contact” Officers and to ensure and increase in membership to STARFLEET, The International Star Trek Fan Association, with potential recruits assigned to our chapter. The Recruitment/Diplomatic Corps is wide ranging in support areas of the Command Structure. The training required for assignment to this department affords the Diplomat with some basic knowledge in each of the areas that are primary on a Starship but the main area of study is in cultural and societal aspects in general. Departmental requirements include but are not limited to the ability to deal with and handle people, a broad knowledge of alien cultures and societies, strong network of contacts across the Galaxy and a strong sense of duty and understanding of authority.
